The Malta Gaming Awards are right around the corner. In just two days’ time, we will know which companies have been recognised as forerunners in the online gaming industry. This year, the Blexr team has reason to be ecstatic.
The short-list for affiliate of the year sponsored by BetConstruct has been revealed and it looks like we’ve made the final cut. Blexr is up against two major contenders in the industry, Catena Media and Matching Visions, and there’s a feeling of optimism and excitement buzzing around the office.
Blexr co-founder Paudie O’Reilly said the nomination was “another proud moment for our company, and an appreciation of how hard our staff work”.
He added: “We’re honoured to be shortlisted and to be recognised for our continued high performance in the affiliate market.”
The second edition of the awards show will be held during Malta Gaming Week on 22nd November, the night before the highly anticipated opening of Sigma ’17, the most prominent iGaming show to take place on the island. Blexr will also be exhibiting at the conference for the first time, and we have something electric in store.
There are twelve categories in total including innovator of the year, casino of the year, games vendor of the year, legal firm of the year, and fastest growing white label of the year. Maltese stand-up comedian, Chris Dingli, and Jon Thompson, the director of Risk, will be hosting the glamorous event. The president of Malta will also be in attendance as the guest of honour.
The fundraiser is organised together with The BiG Foundation and all proceeds from the event will go to two charities, The Malta Community Chest Fund and Kilimanjaro Challenge 11 Reaching Out.
